Perheretki Öjbergetille 2010

Elokuun parhaita ilmoja salli Herra meille ja olimme Vaasan länsipuolella retkellä. Paikka on nimeltään Öjberget. Komea nimi vaikka ei se nyt mikään vuori olekaan varsinaisesti. Paikkahan syntyi n. 500 miljoona vuotta taaksepäin, kun meteoriitti törmäsi maahan viereisellä Söderfjärden nimisellä paikalla. Öjberget syntyi siitä massasta mikä siirtyi meteoriitin edestä.

It was one of the finest autum evenings when we headed our trip west of Vasa. We visited place named Öjberget (Fieldmountain?) And our Lord provided us the most beautiful weather also. The place was borned for 500 million years ago when a meteorite hit the earth on that near by field called Söderfjärden.

Ylämäki oli kuitenkin sen verran rankkaa eräille että piti oikein kunnolla ottaa syke alas pumpusta. Me jotka ajoimme autolla ylös pidimme nauruamme, mutta alasmennessä meilläkin oli oikein hauskaa. Oli kuin olisi ajanut Wasalandiassa vuoristorataa.

The climb uphills was not so easy. We who drived with car up had so fun, but when going down we had more fun. It was driving a mountaintrain in local amusement park.

Ruoka oli hyvää ja sitä oli paljon. Grilli oli onneksi mukana omasta takaa ja siinä hyvät hiilet takasivat parhaita riistan makuja suomalaiseen makuun. (Makkaraa ja sinappia...)

The food was good and we had it a lot. Grill was with us, taken from home and it provided us with the best tasted foos in Finnish way. (Grillsausage and a lot of mustard).

UK and Ireland Conference 19-21.11.2010

The UK and Ireland GGWO churches invite you to our Annual Conference which will be in Swindon from Nov 19th - 21st. The conference hotel will be Shaw Ridge ( www.deverevenues.co.uk), a 4* hotel, larger and better equipped than our venue last year. The hotel is close to the historic city of Bath as well as Stonehenge.

Starting on friday afternoon, we look forward to a rich time of fellowship in the Word of God with Pastor Schaller as our main speaker. As many experienced last year, it is such a blessing to be together at this time of year. We are again expecting visitors from all over Europe and the USA.
