What are you afraid of?

All of us answer this question in our own way. We all have our own inner fears that, at different stages of life, can sometimes get the upper hand over our hearts. However, God knows the limits of our humanity and power better than anyone else. And he has promised never to leave us alone or to our own strength (Hebrews 13:5).

God also knows what kind of equipment I need for my trip. I need good, nutritious food – God’s living and personal words from the Bible to nourish my thoughts so I can move forward. I need edifying fellowship – God created me to live in interaction with Himself and others. I need a lot of encouragement – I can get it for myself and I can give it to others when we get together.

It has been 40 years since our church’s first women’s seminar was held. A whole generation of women has walked together during this time, and to our delight, the next one has joined in with new strength and fresh ideas. Come and join our celebration to rejoice, to be edified and to build up others with your presence!
